What are you most looking forward to at the CE Summit this year?
My favorite part of the event is always the Voice sessions, where I get the hot scoop on the latest features and current directions.
What do you see as the biggest trends in Watson IoT technology today?
I’m really not that into trends. I prefer to have my feet on solid ground.
What advice would you give to future engineers?
Build a network, both personal and professional.
How does CE help drive a connected, software-driven world?
By managing the resultant product complexity.
What do you see as the biggest risks or challenges for CE or IoT?
Training all the people who need to use it, especially the CE customers.
What is the goal of your session at the CE Summit?
1) Cognitive Analytics Keynote – Creating a vision of how Cognitive Analytics can improve the practice of Systems Engineering.
2) Cognitive Requirements Assessment – Introducing Watson to Requirements Engineering and showing how it can assist them.
What app can you not live without?
I don’t use apps.
What is your favorite thing about New Orleans?
I’ve never been to New Orleans before.
